Games
Octo Reticula has ten games that are purchased, downloaded and played separately. The first game (Desert Mountains) is provided free of charge as a promotional. The purchase price of the other nine games is USD$ 19.95 for each game.
Questions
Timer
Each game has eight sections, hence the name, Octo Reticula, Latin for “eight grids”. Each section has five multiple choice questions.
The four answers to the questions are posted above the entrance to paths. The right answer path leads to the next question area. Wrong answer paths lead to a dead-end area that narrows the question down to two answers. From there, the player back tracks to the question area and tries another path.

Menu Selections and Gameplay
A cumulative time is generated for the private use of the player. It will not be shared or used in statistics. The time does not run in the upper shuttle bay level. The timer runs only in the lower question level. The time runs only while the game character is moving. So, the player has unlimited time to ponder and research the questions.
Play – Play current loaded game. First game is loaded automatically.
New Game – Start two additional games. Up to three games can be saved.
Load Game – Load a save game. Delete a game and re-start another game by selecting New Game. Note: The New Game key is not available when three games are saved.
P Key – Pause game and return to menu, do not pause if autosave icon is running
Audio Triggers – Clear bubbles set in the surface. Located in front of questions, information boards and other areas. Provide important information for gameplay.
